The residents at the Royal Pines Recovery Center in Hayden are now enjoying the numerous benefits of the commercial-grade dryers which were recently installed in the laundry facility. The project began in late July thanks to an anonymous grant which also provided an industrial-grade ice machine for the Royal Pines kitchen and made possible the recent freezer expansion at the Shepura Men’s Center.
The dryer installation was met with an unforeseen delay a few weeks ago when the original shipment was damaged during delivery. The replacement units (at no cost to the Mission) arrived late last week, however, and are now fully operational.
The more powerful dryers have improved overall efficiency by reducing the number of loads and drying times while simultaneously cutting energy costs.
